The Neverending Dialation of Time and Space uses multi-exposure photography to convey the sensation of moving through both space and memory while grappling with profound grief. The camera's lens functions as my eyes would, capturing fragmented moments and distorting familiar scenes, reflecting how loss can warp one’s perception of reality. Created in response to a personal experience of trauma, the work highlights the dissonance between my own perspective—shaped by uncertainty and sadness—and the more cohesive experience of the figures in the photographs. While they move through the world seemingly unaffected, my reality felt fragmented, as I questioned what was real and whether our shared past had somehow destined us to become the same person. Ultimately, this series examines how extreme violence can not only distort one’s sense of time but also shift the way we see ourselves and the world around us.
